Audio Recording
Zack O’Brien is a composer, producer and audio engineer based in Brooklyn. He is currently completing a graduate degree in Studio Composition at SUNY Purchase.
As a guitarist and songwriter in bands Yucky Duster and Slonk Donkerson, Zack has toured the country, playing countless shows and making records that have received praise in The Guardian, Stereogum, VICE and more. He’s performed everywhere from deli basements, to South By Southwest, to the Barclays Center. His solo debut, Starstruck, is set for release this fall.
As a recordist, Zack has experience across a multitude of genres and styles, producing and/or engineering jazz combos, classical ensembles, solo instrumentalists, and pop and hip-hop artists. He loves music in all its forms. As somebody with experience on both sides of the microphone, he most enjoys walking other artists and players through the recording process in a way that maximizes their comfort, confidence and performance.

Package includes setup/breakdown, 1 hour of recording, and 30 minutes of editing.
