Piano Tuning & Maintenance

Having your piano regularly tuned will keep your piano sounding great, extend your piano's life, and keep you eager to learn! Finding a qualified tuner is time-consuming and tricky! We send you the very best so you can rest assured that your piano is in good hands. We will remind you when your scheduled tuning is coming up so you don't have to worry about scheduling the appointment yourself!

"I found their performance superb. My piano sounds better than it ever did after multiple tunings over 50 years. Thank you for sending him to me!" - Piano Owner

Tom Dans

Tom has a true passion for what he does, and he puts in the time and effort to make sure every piano sounds as good as new. He is a consummate professional, an effective communicator, and a true craftsman committed to using state-of-the-art electronics and piano factory tuning methods to bring forth the unique qualities inherent in every piano for the best possible sound quality and playing experience. His role as a consumer advocate is called upon with every piano inspection he performs.

Tom performs a multi-step electronic analysis of every piano before tuning begins, including determining the pitches at 12 points. The specific numbers obtained from analysis of exact string inharmonicity across the keyboard, F3, A4, and C6, are used to calculate a perfected tuning, unique to each piano. This advanced tuning technique ensures that the tonal voice of every piano will have better focus, and sustained chords will have a noticeable unity. Every piano is tuned twice because two sweeps achieves the most stable tuning possible.
